SAFRUDI’s Integrated Social Development Program:

Building the capacity of communities towards self-reliance

The Integrated Social Development Program (ISDP), is the social development arm of SAFRUDI supporting 10 communities from five provinces organized as GBPs or Gabay sa Bagong Pag-asa (Guide for New Hope).

These community-based people’s organizations are prepared to become productive components of society through transfer of knowledge, skills and resources via ISDP’s four program components: Community Organizing, Health and Nutrition, Socio-Eco and Sustainable Agriculture.

More than ever, SAFRUDI considers its GBP communities as models or channels in bringing change to other communities faced with the challenges of underdevelopment
